Just what is Festival Fete all about?
Jennifer Neuguth and David Riordan’s love and support of local art and artists coincided with the opening of OOP, the nationally recognized contemporary gift gallery specializing in American Hand Craft. For more than twenty years, they have created a unique shopping experience found nowhere else in New England. Their love and commitment to the local Rhode Island art scene served as the genesis for their newest venture, Festival Fete. An art festival production company, Festival Fete, will capitalize on Jennifer and David’s 20 plus years of arts experience including the organization of the Thayer Street and DownCity Art Festivals.
Like OOP, Festival Fete festivals will be one-of-a-kind with an extraordinary collection of over 100 Contemporary American Craft artists, strolling entertainment, a farmers market, and children’s crafts and entertainment. In addition, each festival will feature an opportunity for festival attendees to express themselves and experience the thrill of creativity with a specially designed community art project. Festival Fete shows are not just another art festival but a local art happening!
